Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (Pre-School)

CGS 2.png

The premise behind the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) Christian formation process is that children desire to draw closer to God. However, they need the sensitive guidance of the adult as well as the inner guidance of the Holy Spirit to nurture this relationship. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a way of journeying with children toward God.

Preschool/Kindergarten (age 4 by Sept. 15th) CGS classes are offered on Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 4:30-5:45pm, and Sundays at 9:30-10:45am.

Our 1st - 6th grade elementary faith formation programs are held on site Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 5:00pm-6:15pm, September through May.

Parents are encouraged to place their children in an elementary faith formation program at age 4.

Children are required to have at least one year of Catholic Faith Formation prior to their Sacramental Preparation year (2nd grade.)

Registration forms for all these programs are available in the church gathering space and at the parish office or at the links below.

PARENT/ADULT FAITH FORMATION MONTHLY SESSIONS

All parents, and adults in the parish, are invited to these monthly faith formation sessions. The sessions are during the Elementary Faith Formation class periods on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Lux Mundi Hall. Each day is the same class, so you only need to come to one!
