SOciety Members
Members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul embrace the charism and spirituality of our Patron Saint, Vincent de Paul. His love and service to the poor are an example for us today to “evangelize the poor” and bring to them the wholeness of the love of Jesus Christ in a broken world.
As a Vincentian at Light of the World Parish, you may:

Answer calls from neighbors needing assistance with their rent, utilities, food, gas, and other life sustaining essentials. Work to understand, love and have compassion for the poor by helping with their immediate needs as well as ways to sustain their spiritual and human well-being.

In pairs we are honored to meet neighbors and explore how to best use county, state and federal resources, and parishioners’ donations.

Saint Vincent de Paul is an international organization that follows the vision and mission of St. Vincent de Paul. Members desire to deepen their relationship with God through prayer and free service to neighbors in need.
